CBORD Visited By Special Guests During Bring Your Child To Work Day

For Immediate Release

April 22, 1999

Ithaca, New York—On April 22, 1999 The CBORD Group, Inc. invited the daughters and sons of all employees to visit us here at the office and find out what it is that CBORD really does.

One of the things we do here in the Media Group is put together newsletters. These are kind of like newspapers or magazines about how CBORD’s products help people perform their jobs.

The first step in putting together a newsletter is deciding what to write about. We try to find the most interesting stories we can, so people will enjoy reading them. What do you think would make a good story?

Then we take pictures of the people we talk to and the buildings they work in and put them on the page with the story.

The most interesting, or "news-worthy,"event today is your visit here. So we’re writing a news article about you.

Media Group visitors also learned about writing online help files, graphic animation, and using the world wide web.

The CBORD Media Group is proud to report that Casey Black, Katy Curkendall, Kristen Miller, Kelly Lewis, Casey Lewis, Jessica Brown, Chucky Bouck, Rob Williamson, Michelle Burling, Steve Williamson, Jeremey Knout, Boomer Burling, Luke Bizzell, Angelo Peters, Beth Tomlinson, Jennifer Tighe, Chris Jones, Kimberley Owings, and Elizabeth TenWolde have all learned about CBORD’s Media Group.

And if you’re interested in visiting the web sites you saw today one more time. Here they are:
