CBORD’s Marsha Diamond Wins HFM President’s Award
For Immediate Release
September 14, 2006
Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., the leading provider of
food and nutrition management and cashless card systems to
healthcare facilities, is proud to announce Marsha Diamond, CBORD’s
national client relations manager, has been awarded the
Healthcare
Foodservice Management Society (HFM) President’s Award.
Marsha co-chaired this year’s silent auction, which was enjoyed by approximately 500 conference attendees. Proceeds from HFM’s silent auction benefit the HFM scholarship fund, which enables operators to attend the National Training Conference at no cost. Marsha also serves on the HFM Industry Advisory Council, and has been very active in prior national conferences.
"Under Marsha’s direction, HFM was able to raise over $36,000 in scholarships for next year's conference," said Sharon Cox, president of HFM. "It’s no wonder she received the President's Award! We (HFM) thank Marsha for all that she does."
HFM’s National Training Conference affords operators and associates the opportunity to learn from influential speakers, participate in exciting team-building exercises, share insights into current issues, and collaborate on strategies for the future of on-staff healthcare foodservice.
"HFM members want to learn and be more educated. They chose to be involved with their industries and communities, and are committed and connected to each other as well," explained Diamond, who has been involved with HFM for 13 years. "HFM is a first class, passionate organization."
"We are very proud of Marsha and her contributions to HFM. CBORD’s relationship with HFM dates back to the inception of the organization. HFM fosters a unique relationship with its associate members, and CBORD is proud to partner with the organization," said Tim Tighe, President and CEO of CBORD.
